Jörg Siegloch
was born in 1961 in Chkolovsk (Tajikistan) as Russian of German origin. He learned to play the piano and the trumpet and was director of music in Khabarovsk. In his following studies he learned to play the accordion, which became his main instrument.
In 1989 he came to Germany, where he started to teach accordion and performed with various orchestras. His studies of the French way of accordion-playing and of the bandoneon finds its expression in the music, which he performs since 1996 together with Hans-Christian Jaenicke as Duo Diagonal. Jörg Siegloch plays an Italian accordion made by Pigini. |
